COSMOS a pass of a day
This is my first 3D short animated movie called "COSMOS - the pass of a day". Cosmos in greek means the world so here i'm pointing to several earth locations beggining with the sun rising and finish when the sun sets. I had to render 5600 frames of 1024 x 576 res. It took me two and a half months to model the environments render and finally edit them. I needed about an afternoon or whole day to create every scene and one or two days to render each one of them. In order to decrease render time i used global ambience instead of global radiocity as lighting method and all scenes are rendered in final mode and that's why there is so much color flickering. All scenes created with vue 10xrtream and worldmachine 2, and post production done with after effects and photoshop cs5.
